Agonics performed a kinematic envelope clearance assessment through 240 corridor km of the Victorian Rail Network based on network-wide LiDAR survey as part of the New Rollingstock Program.
On behalf of DOT, Agonics carried out a platform height and offset study across standard gauge platforms.
This reuse of existing LiDAR datasets underscored the inherent value of LiDAR datasets that have been rigorously recorded and processed as well as correctly spatially referenced to the rail network so that reports on defects and asset condition can be relied on by the business.
