The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) has rolled out 4G upgrades to communications mobile sites across its 8,500km rail network. This included the upgrading 13 tunnels in NSW. To support the design of the telecommunications upgrades, Agonics recorded and processed high density Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS) data across all 13 tunnels and supplied its XERRA software so Downer Wireless could complete design work using XERRA’s kinematic clearance algorithms.
