The benefit that XERRA can provide in quickly pinpointing potential problems on railway networks is that critical resources can be focussed where help is needed. The aim is always to make manual processes more efficient, so that critical defect backlogs can be addressed.

Recently we extended a client partnership to perform a clearance investigation using LiDAR data previously recorded. This initiative aimed to support network operations and asset management through precise and efficient assessments of detected infringements.

The network-wide analysis was completed in a few weeks within a secure office environment, a stark contrast to traditional clearance assessments that can span months, expose track workers to risks, and incur significantly more costs.
