In order to introduce you to some of our team, we are profiling a team member, Ida Jazayeri. We asked Ida why she chose to work in the rail industry and her experience working with Agonics.
“Ida has a degree in Geomatic Engineering and a PhD in photogrammetry from the University of Melbourne. She worked as an academic at the University of Melbourne prior to joining Agonics in 2020.
I mainly chose to work at Agonics because of the people – they’re a great team of talented individuals working on really interesting projects using state-of-the-art technologies.
Agonics is a very supportive company that encourages equality for women in rail through flexible working hours, work-from-home initiatives, and by also providing an inclusive culture with open communication and equal opportunities for all.”
Ida’s relevant projects:
I’ve loved being a part of the development of XERRA, an exciting LiDAR processing and analysis software. Being there from the beginning of the initial design and development stages right through to commercial release has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience.
